Early Life and Career
Born on September 5, 1990, in Bucheon, South Korea, Yuna Kim showed an early affinity for figure skating after her family relocated to Gunpo when she was six years old.
Her coach recognized her exceptional talent, predicting her future success as a champion. At the age of 10, Kim executed her first triple jump, and by 12, she had mastered five different triple jumps.
